The 3rd SNAI-CUHK CFO Forum, organized by CUHK’s School of Accountancy and Shanghai National Accounting Institute (SNAI), co-organized by CUHK’s Center for Institutions and Governance (CiG), was held on May 11, 2013 in Shanghai. With a theme on “Listing and Financing of Chinese Non-State-Owned Enterprises”, three speakers – Dr. Qiang Chen (Chairman and CEO of China Rongsheng Heavy Industries Group Holdings Limited), Dr. Wei Chen (Chairman and Founding Partner of Shenzhen Oriental Fortune Capital Co. Ltd.), and Mr. Jianmin Han (Managing Partner of Da Hua Certified Public Accountants), shared their insights and valuable experience with CFOs. As a successful entrepreneur, Dr. Qiang Chen delivered a speech on the Development of Chinese Non-State-Owned Enterprises through Public Listing. From the PE’s point of view, Dr. Wei Chen shared his unique thoughts on PE Investment in the Transitional Economy of China. Being the issuance examination committee member on the First, Second and Third GEM of China Securities Regulatory Commission, Mr. Jianmin Han talked about Listing Choices and Share Issuance Regulations of Chinese Non-State-Owned Enterprises. This annual forum was well attended by approximately 200 CFOs, practitioners and accounting academics from Hong Kong and mainland China.
